RULES OF CONDUCT FOR OVERNIGHT TRIPS

Chaperone Information

Applications are now being accepted for parents who wish to serve as chaperones for the Prosper, TX and Indianapolis trips. Parents may choose to submit for one or both trips, but only have to fill out the application form once. Simply check the boxes for which trip you wish to chaperone. Parents who wish to chaperone for an overnight trip will need to serve as a chaperone in some capacity (football game and/or contest) prior to the trip in order to be familiar with students, fellow chaperones, and band procedures. Parents will need to read through and be familiar with the Chaperone Handbook as well. All applications should be turned in to Mr. Hillock.

The deadline to submit for the Prosper, TX trip is Friday, September 13th and Friday, October 4th for the Indianapolis Trip. Parents chosen to chaperone a trip will be notified approximately one week after the application is due.

CHAPERONE APPLICATION

Ticket Information

Most venues that BOA operates have gone cashless. This includes the box office and concessions. Please plan accordingly to ensure a successful day. Tickets bought in advance will be cheaper than tickets purchased on site. Ticket information for Prelims and Finals will be added HERE when made available by BOA.

Bag Policy

Bands of America encourages spectators not to bring bags into venues. Only clear bags and emergency bags will be permitted. Bag policies are efffective in expediting entry into venues and provide additional safety. Spectators will be allowed to bring items such as cameras, provided they are not in cases that would violate the bag policy at the venue.

Spectator Parking

There will probably be no charge for spectator parking at the Dallas/Ft. Worth Area Regional Championships. All spectators are advised to arrive early and allow extra time to get to the stadium, especially during peak performance times.

Photography

Still cameras are allowed in the stadium and may be used from stadium seating, but not on the field. Tripods and similar equipment is not allowed. Jolesch Photography will be on-site taking action photos on the field level. Group and section photos will be offered at the contest as well. Ordering information can be found at www.bandgroupphotography.com
