Jarred Carey

Assistant Guard Director


Jarred Carey began his career at Jenks as the Assistant Color Guard Director in 2017. Before coming to Jenks, Mr. J was the Color Guard Director at Berryhill High School for three years; where he helped build the program and brought the guard into the competitive spotlight. During his time at Berryhill the Color Guard consistently placed in the top three and was a two-time WGI Tulsa regional Finalist. Mr. J has also worked as a designer, consultant, and choreographer for several schools in the state as well as Texas and Missouri.  

In 2014 and 2015 Mr. J was a part of an Independent Winter Guard group based in Oklahoma City, Eclectix Independent; where he received a bronze medal in 2015 at WGI World Championships in Dayton, OH.

Mr. J is a 2014 graduate of Broken Arrow High School, and is currently working on his associate’s degree in Elementary and Secondary Education at Tulsa Community College. Mr. J plans to continue his education at Northeastern State University.
