
Sam Silverman
Sam Silverman began teaching in Jenks Public Schools in 2019. His responsibilities include teaching two 7th grade bands, and assisting with the Trojan Pride Marching Band.
Mr. Silverman is a 2015 graduate of the Interlochen Arts Academy, a fine arts boarding high school in Northern Michigan, where he studied trombone and performed in the Academy Band, Orchestra, Brass Ensemble, and Jazz Ensemble. Mr. Silverman holds a Bachelor of Music Education degree from the University of Michigan where he was a member of the Symphony Band led by Michael Haithcock and studied trombone with Professor David Jackson. He has also studied trombone at the Boston University Tanglewood Institute where he was a member of the Young Artists Orchestra program.
Mr. Silverman has previously worked with the band programs at West Bloomfield High School and Plymouth-Canton Educational Park. He completed his student teaching in the Plymouth-Canton Community Schools at Discovery Middle School under the guidance of Marc Whitlock. replique montre breitling
Mr. Silverman is also active in Drum Corps International as a member of the brass instructional staff of Gold Drum and Bugle Corps.
