OSSAA State Contest - Owasso HS
State Contest Itinerary
April 9th , 2023
8:25 Roll taken. Rehearsal will take place in concert attire. Put hanging bag with regular school clothes and backpack in M102 BEFORE rehearsal starts.
8:30 Rehearsal in the Symphonic Band room. Percussion will pack their needed instruments early.
10:00 Load Buses.
10:20 Depart for Owasso. Make sure you have your instrument, music, tuners, mutes, reeds, etc.
10:50 Arrive in Owasso. Unload and prepare for warm up.
11:20 Warm Up
11:45 Stage Performance
12:10 Sight-reading
12:30 Depart Owasso. Lunch will be given to you as you get on the bus.
1:00 Arrive at JHS. Change into school clothes and go to class. Contest is still happening in the music building. It is very important that you remain quiet in the hallways out of respect for other bands.

TCC Pre-State Music Festival - Thursday, March 28th or Friday, March 29th
HS Preview Concert - Tuesday, April 2nd
State 6A-E and 6A-EE Concert Band Contests - Tuesday, April 9th
State 6A Concert Band Contest - Friday, April 12th
Spring Percussion Recital - Thursday, May 2nd
Spring Concert - Thursday, May 16th (back up date is May 10th in case of bad weather)
