Audition Sign-Up
Students may now sign up to audition for OMEA and/or NCDA. Students in grades 9-12 may audition for NCDA. Students in grades 10-12 may audition for OMEA. A sign up sheet is on the board in the band room. It is highly recommended that students in 10-12 grade sign up for both.
Deadline to sign up is Thursday, September 3rd.
Audition Entry Fees Due
Audition fees for OMEA are $20.00 for each entry. Audition fees for NCDA are $10.00 for the first entry and $5.00 for each additional entry. Entry fees are due on or before Friday, September 13th. Students paying with cash must have the exact amount in an envelope, marked with their name, the amount, and what the money is for. Students paying with a check may just turn in the check. Students may use their trip fund account if money is in their account and if a request is made to the trip fund manager by Friday, September 8th. Money may be turned in to Mr. Hillock or to a parent on Money-Fridays.

Audition Music Information
Audition music is now available for students who want to try out for OMEA All-State and NCDA Regional Honor Bands. If you do not own these books containing the audition etudes, we highly recommend that you purchase them. It is a great resource to have in your personal library. Audition music for OMEA, NCDA, and Concert Band Auditions were passed out on the first day of school, so all students should now have the audition material.
