HS Band Information Night/ Night Light Tulsa Information Night

Night Light Information: 6:30 PM in HS Building 6 Multi-Purpose Room 129 (optional)
HS Band Information Night: 7:00 PM in HS Building 6 Auditorium (required)
At 6:30, Mrs. Cryer will meet with parents of students who are interested in participating in our Night Light Tulsa event on March 27th. This is an optional meeting. You can learn more about Night Light Tulsa.
At 7 PM, we will begin the high school band meeting in the Building 6 Auditorium (very near the multipurpose room.) The High School Band Information Night is intended for all students and parents in the eighth grade band. Scott Hillock (head high school band director) will present a power point about the high school band program. We have found that there is quite a bit of misinformation that floats around regarding high school band. This presentation gives familes general information as well as a proper perspective on the opportunities and expectations associated with the High School Band Program.
There will also be several band boosters present to answer questions as well as Mr. Hillock and Mrs. Cryer. It is imperative that all 8th grade band students and parents attend, regardless of your intent next year. The meeting is scheduled from 7:00-8:00 PM. (Just an FYI: The HS band boosters will be meeting in the auditorium from 6:30-7:00. If you arrive early, you may listen in on that portion of the meeting as well. We will not begin the 8th grade portion until 7:00, however.)
A map to the HS building 6 is provided here. You should park in the HS front oval and enter through the main entrance to Building 6. Signs will guide you to the rest of the locations within the building.
