Incoming President Concessions Liaison

The main role of this position as it pertains to Concessions is to oversee the items and tasks needed for band run Concession events. This includes items such as:

• Working with Concession Coordinators and leadership team to help them perform their roles.
• Providing updates to the board and the band organization.
• This position is a Jenks Band Organization elected position.


Concession Scheduling Coordinator

The main role of this position is to coordinate the volunteers/workers for band run Concession events.  This includes items such as:

  • Collecting information from interested volunteers/workers.  
  • Coordinating the scheduling of volunteers/workers from non-band organizations at band run Concession events.
  • Scheduling volunteers/workers for band run Concession events.
  • This position works in lateral to the Concession Coordinator and reports to the Incoming President.
  • This position gets 5 credit hours at $8 per hour per week that the roles position is performed.  It takes on average 15 – 25 hours per week during football season to perform this role.  It takes on average 5 – 10 hours per week during soccer.  This role does not get paid for time at events unless scheduled as a volunteer/worker.
  • Normal credited weeks are from 2 weeks prior to football season to end of football season.  1 week prior to additional band run concession events through the end of the event.


Concession Coordinator

The main role of this position is to coordinate the day to day activities involved with band run Concession events.  This includes items such as:

  • Coordinating the Concession Controllers and Stand Mangers.  
  • Providing updates of information to the Incoming President regarding event or facility issues.
  • Working with the Athletic department regarding scheduling of events.
  • Scheduling volunteers/workers for band run Concession events.
  • Serve as Inventory Manager during Soccer Season 
  • This position works in lateral to the Concession Scheduling Coordinator and reports to the Incoming President.

This position get 5 credit hours at $8 per hour per week that the role's position is performed. It takes an average of 10-20 hours per week during football season to perform this role. It takes an average of 5-10 hours per week during soccer seasons. This role does not get paid for time at events unless as a volunterr/worker.

Normal credited weeks are from 2 weeks prior to football season. 1 week prior to additional band run concession events through the end of the event.


Inventory & order Controller

The main role of this position is to order the inventory for all band run Concession events.  This includes items such as:

  • Ordering of Inventory
  • Working with on-site vendors for scheduling of events.
  • Working with off-site vendors for scheduling of deliveries for events.
  • Placing and picking up items with providers who do not offer delivery options.
  • Providing reports to the Incoming President
  • This position reports to the Incoming President
  • This position gets  6 credit hours at $8 per hour per week that the roles position is performed.  It takes on average 7-12 hours per week during football season to perform this role.  Plus a lot of gas and mileage.  This role does not get paid for time at events unless scheduled as a volunteer/worker.
  • Normal credited weeks are from 2 weeks prior to football season to end of football season.


Concession Cash Controller

The main role of this position is to control the on-site cash needs involved with band run Concession events.  This includes items such as:

  • Scheduling and picking up money bags from the activity office before every event.  
  • Working with the concession scheduling team in regards to the cash counting team.
  • Working with the band treasurer to make sure all necessary paperwork is provided.
  • Controlling and training the cash team for each event. 
  • Controlling the pickup of money bags by Campus Police at the end of every event.
  • Reporting to Concession Coordinator and Treasurer the counts for each event.
  • This position reports to the Concession Coordinator.
  • This position gets 5 credit hours at $8 per hour per week that the roles position is performed.  This role will take on average 5 – 10 hours per week to perform this role.  This role does not get paid for time at events unless scheduled as a volunteer/worker. 
  • Normal credited weeks are those that include band run concession events.  (Football, Basketball, VolleyFest and Soccer)


Assistant Concession Cash Controller

The main role of this position is to assist with cash counting at the end of events for band run Concession events.  This includes items such as:

  • Working with the concession scheduling team in regards to the cash counting team.
  • Working with the band treasurer to make sure all necessary paperwork is provided.
  • Controlling and training the cash team for each event. 
  • Reporting to Incoming President and Treasurer the counts for each event.
  • This position reports to the Concession Cash Controller.


Monday Night Stand Manager

The main role of this position is to manage the on-site needs and volunteers/workers involved with band run Monday Night Football Concession events.  This includes items such as:

  • Assuring that scheduled volunteers/workers are present.
  • Assuring that scheduled volunteers/workers time sheets are properly filled out.
  • Working with the concession scheduling team in regards to any issues with volunteers/workers who do not show for their scheduled time.
  • Assuring that all products are stocked and prepared before and during event.
  • Assuring that all scheduled deliveries arrive on time during event. 
  • Cleaning of stand and equipment before and after each event.
  • Assuring that scheduled volunteers/workers time sheets are properly filled out.
  • This position reports to the Concession Coordinator.
  • This position gets an hourly credit for actual time worked at $8 per hour per Monday night football event that the roles position is performed.   This position requires arriving up to 2 hrs prior to gate open for each event and staying up to 1 hour after event end.
  • Normal credited days are those that include band run Monday night football concession events.


Tuesday Night Stand Manager

The main role of this position is to manage the on-site needs and volunteers/workers involved with band run Tuesday Night Football Concession events.  This includes items such as:

  • Assuring that scheduled volunteers/workers are present.
  • Assuring that scheduled volunteers/workers time sheets are properly filled out.
  • Working with the concession scheduling team in regards to any issues with volunteers/workers who do not show for their scheduled time.
  • Assuring that all products are stocked and prepared before and during event.
  • Assuring that all scheduled deliveries arrive on time during event. 
  • Cleaning of stand and equipment before and after each event.
  • Assuring that scheduled volunteers/workers time sheets are properly filled out.
  • This position reports to the VP of Concessions.
  • This position gets an hourly credit for actual time worked at $8 per hour per Tuesday night football event that the roles position is performed.   This position requires arriving up to 2 hrs prior to gate open for each event and staying up to 1 hour after event end.
  • Normal credited days are those that include band run Tuesday night football concession events.


Friday Night Stand Managers

Friday Night Food Prep

The main role of this position is to manage the on-site needs and volunteers/workers involved with band run Varsity Football Concession events.  This includes items such as:

  • Assuring that scheduled volunteers/workers are present.
  • Assuring that scheduled volunteers/workers time sheets are properly filled out.
  • Working with the concession scheduling team in regards to any issues with volunteers/workers who do not show for their scheduled time.
  • Assuring that all products are stocked and prepared before and during event.
  • Assuring that all scheduled deliveries arrive on time during event. 
  • Cleaning of stand and equipment before and after each event.
  • Assuring that scheduled volunteers/workers time sheets are properly filled out.
  • This position reports to the Incoming President.
  • This position gets an hourly credit for actual time worked at $8 per hour per Varsity football event that the roles position is performed.   This position requires arriving up to 2 hrs prior to gate open for each event and staying up to 1 hour after event end.

Middle School Stand Manager

  • Assuring that scheduled volunteers/workers are present.

  • Working with the concession scheduling team in regards to any issues with volunteers/workers who do not show for their scheduled time.
  • Assuring that all products are stocked and prepared before and during event.
  • Assuring that all scheduled deliveries arrive on time during event. 
  • Cleaning of stand and equipment before and after each event.

Soccer Stand Manager

  • Assuring that scheduled volunteers/workers are present.

  • Working with the concession scheduling team in regards to any issues with volunteers/workers who do not show for their scheduled time.
  • Assuring that all products are stocked and prepared before and during event.
